Cynthia is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a masters of science in nutrition, University of California at Davis, and dietetic internship at the Medical College of Virginia/VCU in Richmond. She's a diabetes care and education specialist (CDE/CDCES), a nationally board certified Health & Wellness Coach, (NBC-HWC), and yoga teacher, yoga therapist (c-IAYT).
Cynthia has worked with many people with weight concerns, diabetes and pre-diabetes, metabolic conditions and high blood fats. Maximizing mental health and physical wellbeing with nutrition and self-care is her key aim.
She was the first nutritionist/RD at the Greenbrier and Greenbrier Clinic in WV, and the Joslin Diabetes Center affiliate at the University of Maryland Medicine. She's taught nutrition to medical students and undergrads. She was the outpatient clinical nutrition manager for 12 yrs. at the University of Virginia prior to opening her practice in 2019.
